I loved it from the beginning mostly because of Whitney & Alex. Best chemistry since Ray & Debra Barone and the comedic timing is perfect. I like all the characters with their foibles and the group dynamic but most of all Whit & Alex.

Sarah, I could not have said it any better myself! Brava! Your article was spot-on and terrifically well written, and I agree that the show has become more and more fun the longer I watch it. I started watching mid-season and went back on HuluPlus to watch from the beginning. I can’t begin to pick my favorite, but the episode where Whitney hit the ice cream pie out of Alex’ hand had me rolling on the floor. Talk about timing! Whitney’s comedic timing is amazing, both the spoken lines and her physical comedy, and I like her and her cast and their show SO much. Thank you for writing such a terrific expose on a wonderful show full of really, really funny cast members, most of all Whitney & Alex.

I love Whitney too! Alex and Whitney are such a great, realistic couple. I also really like Roxanne and Mark, and Lily and Neal are growing on me. I hope it comes back for a 2nd season!

I don’t agree with your love of the show, but re: laugh track, they tape in front of a live studio audience and apparently use real laughter. 2 Broke Girls does the same.

I absolutely loved the first episode! I was sold the moment I started watching, and what’s even better is that my hubby loves it too! I see it on hulu plus new line up and I have to wait till that evening to watch it together with him

so many people have groaned in my direction when i have brought this show up, but they dont even know! i am hooked! hooked! and alex is so cute. i am in love with him. some of the side characters still bug me, but i really love mark now. he cracks me up

I LOVE Whitney and Alex! This show is so hilarious I wish I could watch it every week! I never knew anyone had a problem with Whitney if they do its just jealousy cause she is so funny beautiful and sure of herself! I absolutely love Whitney!!!!!!
