Have Your Cake and Eat It, Too!

Guys, it’s National Chocolate Cake Day (which, if you’re like me, is pretty much every day, anyway!) and while I’m more fond of cheesecake than I am of a triple layer devil’s food, I love dessert full stop. Who doesn’t? There’s nothing like ending a savoury meal with something sweet and delicious. Although honestly, sugary treats can be their own meal!

From brownies to baklava, chocolate chip cookies to cheesecake – there’s no shortage of desserts to put a smile on your face – and perhaps, unfortunately, a few inches around your waist. Ah, well. You only live once!

While we couldn’t possibly fit them all, we’ve included a selection of some of our personal favourite goodies in today’s poll. Vote for your favourite after-dinner addiction below, or tell us your choice in the comments below. Recipes are also quite happily accepted!

    BJ’s Brewery has a Triple Chocolate Pazooki that is essentially a thin brownie cake with ghiradelli chocolate ice cream scoops on top with a ghiradelli dark chocolate square on top of that…….it’s chocolate lover’s paradise! (and yes, that IS me lol!) It’ll knock your socks off!

    Apple Crumble and custard!

    After that…well, I love anything with custard, but also ice cream/frozen yoghurt, warm brownies, cheesecake, and rich fruit cake with lots of marzipan
