I love Anne Hathaway a lot. Like, a lot a lot. Along with a select few other actresses, she tops my list of celebrities who I wish were my BFFs, and I’m not ashamed to say my affection for her style is just as intense. If you’re a devout Bravo-watcher like me, then you’ll totally remember that Hathaway looks “mahj” at film premieres and television appearances because she often enlists Rachel Zoe as her stylist (and with good reason). Who could forget Hathaway’s eight stunning outfit changes when she co-hosted the Oscars? They were ba-na-nas. However, even when she’s off-duty, the actress knows how to work a cute look, and after recently chopping off her hair to play Fantine in the new Les Misérables movie (which I’m kinda sorta freaking out over), Hathaway has been making more playful outfit choices to accompany her new pixie ‘do (which I’m kinda sorta obsessed with). For all of the Gigglers who are loving Hathaway’s summer style as much as I am, I’ve selected four of her looks and found more affordable alternatives for recreating them piece-by-piece.

(1. ModCloth – $52.99, 2. Endless – $45, 3. Express – $20.93, 4. 6pm.com – $29.99)
Looking very Audrey-esque at a premiere in New York City, Hathaway shows how the Little Black Dress is always an excellent style choice for a day or night out. Try mixing up the look like the actress did and wear a pair of black flats as opposed to heels, as well as minimal jewelry; the ensemble is a bit more understated but glamorous nonetheless (plus, your feet may thank you).

(1. Express – $29.90, 2. Topshop – $56, 3. ASOS - $47.68, 4. ASOS – $13.62, 5. Urban Outfitters – $29.99)
OK, so chambray isn’t quite denim, but Hathaway’s daytime get-up is fairly similar to the much-discussed Canadian Tuxedo. And you know what? I love it. The lightness of the chambray top paired with the slightly darker pair of jeans is a great look for those less-sweltering days of summer. Additionally, there are few shoes better than tied espadrilles for giving off a classic summer vibe in your outfit, so lace up those wedges and rock the blue-hued ensemble in style.

(1. Juicy Couture – $15, 2. ModCloth – $54.99, 3. 6pm.com – $29.99, 4. Nordstrom – $48)
At a screening for Celeste and Jesse Forever, Hathaway shined in a flirty watercolor-print dress, hot pink clutch and nude pumps. I found several watercolor-inspired dresses as substitutes, including the one above, another from the same retailer and one from Ann Taylor, but there are plenty of other color and print combinations to choose from online if these don’t strike your fancy. As for Hathaway’s accessories, I found a clutch on Nordstrom’s website and chose a blue and white ring from Juicy Couture to add some sparkle to the look, but the dress can certainly stand on its own if so desired.

(1. ModCloth – $44.99, 2. The Limited – $54.90, 3. Topshop – $36, 4. Macy’s – $45, 5. Endless – $39.95)
Like I’ve said before, I love the playful and girly route Hathaway has taken since going full pixie, but I’ll always appreciate a lady who can pull off a fabulous menswear ensemble. And the actress’ white-on-white outfit is definitely a favorite of mine. Essentially, you can pair any graphic tee with the blazer and pants, but I chose a Union Jack top simply as an example (and maybe because I wish the 2012 Summer Olympics never had to end). I also chose a pair of patent nude flats for the shoes, although heels are perfectly acceptable, and rounded out my picks with a black wristlet from Macy’s.
I know for a fact I’ll never grow tired of Hathaway’s impressive style, or wishing that I could just text her and talk about everything and anything, but I want to know what you love about Hathaway and her fashion selections. As always, feel free to share this on Twitter and/or Facebook by hitting the “Like” button, too!
