LittlesThing. I've finished the third one I couldn't stop readding. At first they're kinda of slow but once the action begins it really captures you. Tell me what you think!
Sarahdg That sounds awesome!! I hope you can do ir

Sarah, I hope they let you! It'd be so cool.
Also I never ever ate boudin. Can't actually bring myself to do it. It just disgusts me aha

Oh I went to see The Hunger Games to and liked it, but I was so frustrated because it seemed like a lot of things were left out, unexplained. So I bought and read the book too :) Well, the first one actually, and I'm waiting for my bookshop to receive the other two. I enjoyed it though and can't wait to read the other ones!

I just went to Japan and absolutely adored it. I don't speak Japanese but you find your way easily and the food is amazing. If I could, I'd go to Japan as often as possible. Warm toilet seats! <3
Ain't no party like a Liz Lemon party, 'cause a Liz Lemon party is MANDATORY.

Warm toilet seats sounds kinda weird to me. Itd be thinking that someone else had just used the toilet.

What is boudin? The pic I posted is from a bakery called Bousin. They do sourdough bread. I didn't eat there though - it was about $8 for a toasted cheese sandwich. Expensive much? ;)

I didn't see the Hunger Games movie. I haven't read any of the books either. I am always so behind. I never read any of the "Dragon tattoo" books or seen the movie.

Arg I really want to know if I can have this leave without pay because I'm sitting here thinking about all the things I could do & places I could go and I don't even know if I can do them!

Oh my mistake, I must have 'misread' (dunno if this word exists hehe). Boudin is basically pork intestines cleaned up then filled with pork blood. It's then cooked up and tada! Yeah, that sounds quite disgusting but it's supposed to be delicious...

I've just finished the second HG book and I've liked. I never read the Dragon tattoo series either, although I've heard they're awesome. Maybe I will someday. But for now I've got a list long like the length of my arm of books I have to read (wow that phrase is a mouthful and not that good aha)

When will you know if you've had the leave? I can imagine how frustrating it must be! I keep my fingers (and toes) crossed for you :)

Eww gross! There is no way I would eat that. Gross. I don't eat pig anyway (just don't like the taste, nothing religious), but I wouldn't care what animal it was I would not eat it. I won't even eat rare steak because of the blood. Icky!

One of my work mates gave me a book by Michael Connolly to read. I haven't started it yet though. I still have a few other books to read too. I keep forgetting to take one on the train with me.

I'm not sure when I find out about the leave. Applications are open until this Friday, so I'm guessing it'll be at earliest on Friday, but more likely some time the week after. It sucks because I have already started to plan what I'd like to do if I do get the leave. It's gonna be disappointing if I don't get it now. ;)

Aha my thoughts exactly. And I'm not too fond of pig either -except for spare ribs.

Oh you'll tell me if you liked Connolly's book, I'm supposed to read one of them (forgot the title).

Well hopefully you'll get it and you'll send us tons of pictures and we'll drool over them ;)

I haven't read the book yet :( I hope I do it this week, because we have 6 days off and if I don't read it now, I won't have the time for at least a month. And I haven't read the Girl with the dragon tatoo either and I don't think I ever will.

Oh, my, that boudin thing, yuckyuck, we have those too! They're called krvavice, which litereally means blood-y. Many people actually like them and my great grandmother was once telling me how she used to have to stir the blood so it wouldn't get sticky... They cooked them for us at my elementary school once a year - I'm still traumatized.

Sarah, I agree with you on the warm toilet seats... I wouldn't sit on them anyway, but they do sound kind of fascinating.
And I also hope you get the time off you want to get! Where are you planning to go?
Also, kind of random... were you on all continents (aside from Antarctica...)?

I totally ovecooked my pasta writing this

Still waiting to find out about my leave. :( I just want to know so I can really start planning things - although i think it will be tough because there is so much I want to do.

Hmm I have not yet been to South America. I have been to Europe, Asia, North America, Oceania and Africa. So yeah all but Sth America and Antarctica.
