New Girl Viewing Party Contest- FAIL

Postby bdexter19 » Thu Feb 09, 2012 10:35 am

On November 22nd 2011 HelloGiggles.com, New Girl and HelloGiggles Facebook page ran a contest for a New Girl Party Pack, where you could win a party package to host your VERY OWN New Girl Party with all your friends. All you have to do is tell HelloGiggles about the New Girl Party you would throw.

I entered, and was informed the same day that I was a winner by Tatti Ribeiro *(Tatti.HelloGiggles@gmail.com), and she stated I would receive a package with a D-Bag Jar, Adorkable shirt, glasses, New Girl cups, etc. Tatti then requested my address and stated the package would be sent in the mail.

On December 18th 2011 I still hadn't received a package so I contacted her again to see the status, or to see if she kept the tracking information so I could track on my end- again, on the same day, she wrote back and simply stated; the package was sent, sorry for the delay.

On Friday February 3rd I contacted her once more to see the status and have received no word back to date. Since then I have sent notice to Info@HelloGiggles.com, with no response, as well HelloGigglesProductions@gmail.com and Sophia Rossi *(one of the founders of Hello Giggles) – still no response given on my alleged “prize”.

I am quite let down with the outcome of this “contest” – it simply looks to me that it was a ploy to boost “Likes” for the HelloGiggles Facebook page by using the popularity of New Girl.

… in other words- it was a scam.

If I stand incorrect with anything I’ve said above, please do correct me – you can reply here, or contact me directly- Again, I’ve contacted Info@HelloGiggles.com, HelloGigglesProductions@gmail.com, Tatti.HelloGiggles@gmail.com and Sophia Rossi - so you should have my contact information by now.

Loves it ;)
More of a reply than what I got from these gals.
But sorry. I have a point- don't hold bogus contests and you won't have people complaining... and then people like you won't have to complain about people like me complaining- its a vicious circle really.
Thanks for taking time out of ur day

winecoma wrote:Are you seriously bitching, on a forum with probably little employee interaction, about not getting free stuff?

Are we suppose to give you a prize? More importantly, are we suppose to hate hello giggles now for not giving you a t-shirt and some cups?

All I can seem to translate here is "I've been waiting a long time for my free stuff guyzzz"

When I was a kid, I use to get tons of free stuff in the mail for joining things. Even as a CHILD, I never bitched about what was taking so long for my FREE SH*T.

SOOOOO what you're telling me winecoma....is that your free stuff DID ARRIVE after entering... and your contests WEREN'T a scam????? Because I'm pretty sure what this person is getting at is that theirs NEVER DID! 2 months ago it was 'in the mail"??? Ughnnnn where is this package coming from...Africa??? And is it being sent by messenger pigeons?!

I think the point is, the contest was clearly a scam so save your time & energy. If the contest wasn't a scam there would have been some form of response. It sounds as though there were ample attempts to give them a shot at a response before letting the forum know to be weary of contests from this site in the future....

Point being...don't hold bogus contests and people won't get *....are we 12 and fighting for popularity?! What is the point?

Personally I can appreciate the post...holding people accountable and calling them out is necessary at times!

it was my pleasure to let you know that you are being a pr*ck. ;)

Winecoma,
Twice you've shown your lack of intelligence.
First, by proving you can't carry on somewhat of a conversation without including a swear word of some kind. Second by assuming I would have to create a secondary account to tell you how I truly feel.

I agree with what EB1010 says; I would have said it myself in my original reply, however I feel your ignorance and lack of intelligence was proven when you used swear words so I decided to avoid your rude remarks by replying to you the way I did.

I am glad for you and your life filled with plentiful contest winnings and always receiving those prizes without a care in the world. However, where I come from- your word is your word. So if you take the time to run a contest and inform someone they've won- that to me is giving your word.  I'm sure that's meaningless to you seeing as you appear to have lose morals and are simply vulgar.

If you'd actually read my post you would see I've contacted numerous people over a span of 3 months- and yes, venting on this forum was a last resort, perhaps one you do not agree with.
I posted  my message not because I care what ignorant people like you would think- but because I want someone who possibly runs this forum to notice and see that I am still waiting on some sort of response.

I feel whether or not the contest was real I still deserve that response, whether you feel it's justified or not.  And yes, their lack of response does indicate to me the contest was not real so why not let other people know?
I don't want you to hate HelloGiggles or rise against them, but want people to see this displeases me. And yes- I do notice other people post about being upset or disappointed with HG.com- does that mean all those people are me too?

Regardless, I truly hope you carry yourself in every day life like you do here Winecoma- you'll make a wonderful biker, trucker or ditch pig.

Hello,

I'm very sorry you've had to wait for so long for your New Girl Prize Pack. The prizes were sent out through Fox so unfortunately HelloGiggles doesn't have a way to track them. I have followed up with Fox about the location of the prize pack and will be sure it gets to you. Please email again with your information at tatti@hellogiggles.com so I can be sure they have the correct shipping info etc.

Thanks for your patience.
