Last Movie You Saw

In theaters or not, thumbs up or thumbs down?

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows was the last movie I saw in the theater. I didn't like it as much as the first movie so I was kind of disappointed. There was still quite a lot that I found entertaining and funny so I'll give it a thumbs up.

The last movie I saw at home was The Adjustment Bureau. John Slattery - swoon. Matt Damon - swoon. Anthony Mackie -swoon. Plus all wearing suits! Triple swoon! I enjoyed it so thumbs up.

Even though I had already seen it, the last movie I saw was Billy Elliot on Netflix streaming. I can't seem to watch anything really dramatic and sober, so that rules out almost all the good movies that are hoping for Oscar nods. It's not that I don't want to see them, I'm just entirely too emotional and vulnerable right now. I love Billy Elliot, so that was nice;)

The movie I saw before that was You, Again, which was exactly what I needed - a stupid comedy with lots of good physical gags. I also love Kristen Bell.

bright,
bright as yellow,

^ I was really surprised by Horrible Bosses, it was actually pretty good. I was dead tired when I watched it though so I fell asleep for part of it...haha.

The last movie I saw was Tron: Legacy. It was okay, to be honest I didn't really like all the special effects, it made it kind of difficult to watch.

I think I've mentioned my love for this film in another topic, but; Persepolis. It's so great! I've only seen the first half though (yesterday, hope to watch the rest tomorrow...). Highly recommended, I feel like I'm learning something new with every minute of it.

About Horrible Bosses - I was surprised too, I expected it to be boring, so I went in with low expectations but it surprised me so I was almost kind of enthusiastic at the end. :D

Littlest--Glad to hear Persepolis is good! I read the book/graphic novel and really loved it, so I've avoided the movie because I didn't want it to be ruined, so to speak.

The last thing I watched was Meek's Cutoff, which I think was an indie film of sorts starring Michelle Williams. I think it was good as a piece of education, but I really don't think I could sit through it again.

I liked Persepolis. I heard the graphic novel is better but I haven't had the chance to check it out.

I also remembered I watched most of Hall Pass which the 80% that I saw stunk. I didn't expect it to be good but it was like a train wreck and I couldn't divert my eyes. Jason Sudekis, I demand more from you!

I loved Persepolis! The books were great and they did a really great job with the movie. I was very impressed.

Sadly, I haven't been to the movies in ages and I don't watch much tv in my house. However EVERY time I go to my parent's there is some sort of Lifetime Christmas movie on so something along those lines is probably the last thing I saw lol. I plan on rectifying that on Monday since I have off from work. I'd really like to go catch a matinee. Any suggestions for movies that are out now?

^ The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo has been getting really good reviews! It's supposed to be quite graphic though so be prepared. I haven't read the novel and I'm horribly squeamish with violence so it's not my cup of tea...but it might be yours! Other ones that I want to watch are The Artist, Shame, and The Muppets!

I saw the Swedish movie of Girl With the Dragon Tattoo after reading the first book. It is VERY violent, but very good. Looking forward to the American version!
