Pretty nails

Postby catita » Mon Nov 14, 2011 1:16 pm

Hi,

I actually got inspired by all the nail art that HelloGiggles posts here and in facebook, and did this

It's O.P.I.'s cajun shrimp with (also OPI) hollywood blonde in the tips.

I'm a nail polish newbie. I've bitten my nails for as long as I can remember and decided that nail polish may help me quit. I used a glittery purple last Wednesday and so far I've refrained from biting my nails. They are chipping pretty badly. Should I put a clear coat on top of glitter nail polish?
And I do not want to be a rose.
I do not wish to be pale pink,
but flower scarlet, flower gold.
And have no thorns to distance me,

but be bright,
bright,
bright as yellow,
warm as yellow.

Wow, the effect is really subtle and sophisticated! I will definitely borrow that idea

Thanks for the comments :)

brightasyellow, it's for sure a good strategy to stop nailbiting, keep it up :D !
I use a clear polish both as base coat and as top coat to avoid chipping

Pretty nails! I wish I could have long nails! I've bitten my nails for about 13, 14 years, it's the worst habit ever but I really can't stop doing it!
I've tried the horrid tasting polish, and I just get used to the flavour and use it as a condiment. lol

These aren't mine but I loved the design when I saw it!

My favorite color is gray, so I was sooo stoked when my mom sent me a bottle of gray nail polish! I have been wearing it constantly for almost a month now, (which is a while for me) and I love it cause its not a color you would typically associate with nailpolish!

My only issue now is constantly picking and peeling the polish off! :?
