HG Shop Disappointment

Postby Katty_84 » Tue Nov 22, 2011 6:29 pm

I've been eagerly awaiting an awesome HG t-shirt since HG first announced they would be selling them. So when I found out that the shop was finally open, I quickly went the site to pick out my very own t-shirt to represent!

Imagine my EXTREME disappointment when I saw there were only three sizes (S, M, L) and then saw the disclaimer that the shirts ran small.

Big Girls like fashion too! I always thought Hello Giggles represented all girls of all shapes and sizes. Big Girls like to wear cute ice cream cone shirts too just like the skinny ones. So why then does a website so heavy on acceptance exclude people who don't fall under the certain sizes?

I wouldn't of even minded paying a couple dollars extra for a bigger size if a bigger size was available.

It makes me wonder if HG is really catering to me if I'm not under a certain size?

It's just my two cents.

Huh, I didn't really look at the shop, but that's definitely not cool, especially since this is marketed as a women-friendly site.
And I do not want to be a rose.
I do not wish to be pale pink,
but flower scarlet, flower gold.
And have no thorns to distance me,

but be bright,
bright,
bright as yellow,
warm as yellow.

Hey guys, I'll pass on an email to whomever I can about this. I'm sure this is just a result of it being a new product launch. I'll definitely let the ladies know that there are some requests for more sizes. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
Cheese is my favorite part of the day.

I noticed that too - was gonna buy myself an early b'day pressie and then...disappointment. There definetely are requests for other sizes, and if that happens that'd be fantastic!
