I finished Hemingway's Islands in the Stream. Definitely not one of his better books, but that's probably because it was published posthumously and with no editing.

Currently reading - Hamlet. I think I may have read this in high school, but I'm not sure so I thought I should read it. I've only read Act 1, but, so far, it really is as brilliant as it's made out to be. I'll probably watch the Richard Burton Hamlet after reading it.
And I do not want to be a rose.
I do not wish to be pale pink,
but flower scarlet, flower gold.
And have no thorns to distance me,

but be bright,
bright,
bright as yellow,
warm as yellow.

At the moment I'm reading The Game by Neil Strauss. Just wanted to know if this man is really a genius since guys are telling me his 'game' actually works.

I just finished Medium Raw by Anthony Bourdain. I enjoyed it mostly for the parts where he is looking back comparing the person he was while writing Kitchen Confidential to the person he is today. Of course he is still scathing to many people but you can definitely tell he has mellowed a ton.

Next on my list is our Book Club book! Woohoo!

I just finished reading Hamlet. I'm trying to process everything I read. It was so powerful and beautiful and emotional and... Next up is The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo!

Currently reading The Handbook for Lightning Strike Survivors, by Michele Young-Stone.

I'm taking a break from fantasy. Sort of.

Glamophonic - I figured I needed something a little more modern after Hamlet. Also, I know the movie's coming out!

Yeah I know what you mean. I would recommend to watch the Swedish movie first. It's a little bit different because of the language but you'll get used to it. I'm very curious about the new movie though..

superlatifs - Slaughterhouse-Five is great. Vonnegut was really able to get across the terror of war.
