Hey Guys!

Did you see that opening ceremony last night? What was your favorite part? Was anyone else thinking of "The Hunger Games" when the teams started coming in to the stadium? And how about that flying bike?!

We'd love to hear from you!

I loved the music retrospective! Hearing so many awesome songs and seein the corresponding costumes. I also enjoyed the little history lesson as well! Nicely done London. Xo

One of my favorite parts has to be the British Literature section. With Mary Poppins to Peter Pan and Harry Potter. Also the music in the "Digital Age" was just awesome! But the Queen's video with James Bond was hilarious.

The whole show was great but the Arctic Monkeys and Paul McCartney made it absolutely fantastic! I would have loved to see Paul joining the Monkeys half way through Come Together, and have them play a couple more Beatles songs together.
Also Mr Bean and the Queen skydiving was pretty funny.
Congrats to Danny Boyle!

I had no idea why each country had someone carry what looked like a mini cornucopia. Then when the torch was passed and the petals were lit and raised, I was practically breathless. What a beautiful moment that was.

The corgies in the video with the Queen were too cute! Also, flying bicycles!!
Ain't no party like a Liz Lemon party, 'cause a Liz Lemon party is MANDATORY.

I don't know if anyone else heard this, but the announcers on NBC said at one point, "And now here's a celebration of the two acheivements Britain is most proud of, Children's literature, and their health care system!" my sister and I laughe SO hard at that...
Why is it that hard to spell?

The Opening Ceremony was entertaining and I was happy that everything went so well for GB. I wish NBC didn't feel the need to have people talk over everything. This year I've enjoyed archery, volleyball (both beach and indoor), and table tennis. I always look forward to seeing race walking (look it up, its amazing) on my television too.
