Duuude these are neato!
I love the character in the nose of the guy in the fourth, unfinished one. Are those famous people? I feel like their faces are familiar...
I also like the Inception and Edward Scissorhand ones. Watercolor?? I basically have negative knowledge of painting/art. D:

Thanks guys! The 2nd and 4th are drawings of me and my boyfriend. The second I tried making them Disney style. I make him one every year for Christmas although the 4th has been unfinished for some time (my bad).

All of the ones I posted are digitally done in digital oil paint except for the 4th, that one is oil pastel on paper...its like greasy crayons.

Your style is great, it's inspiring to see people havin their own style drawing known images. I love drawing portraits too. Drawing is not about duplicating it is about interpreting. If you wanted photo reality you could use a camera.

Keep up the good work x

Art is definitely therapeutic. So agreed.

Also referencing existing imagery to create your own art is totally legit. I once read Steal Like An Artist by Austin Kleon and he nailed it by saying that nothing is original, all ideas are recycled and we as artists just add our style into what we compile. Boo-yah! :O)

You work is wonderful! Keep it up! And kudos for your digital work. Personally I find it a lot more difficult than traditional media, and yours even looks good.
