This article http://hellogiggles.com/when-arson-hits-home reminds me of my two brushes with fire. One was just a close call right outside my bedroom window but the other time was actually IN my house. When my father woke us up and told us to get outside I grabbed my cell phone, my grandmother's sunglasses and a ring and necklace my at-the-time boyfriend gave me. I had always wondered what I would grab if my house was on fire and I had seconds to get out and now I know. Well not, now because that jewelry is shoved in a box under my bed! But I have a general idea.

So if you were in that moment of panic, what would be the first thing you grabbed?

Yikes, how terrifying! I suppose it's hard to know if I would be "with it" enough to think of what to grab, but I think I'd get my teddy bear that I've had since I was born (and may or may not still sleep with) and a photo album or two.

Haha no judgments on the teddy bear! I've been sleeping with a Charlie Brown doll since I was two.

And the computer would have to be sacrificed if I need all my arm strength to wrangle the cats. MY BABIES!

I guess I'd grab my Laptop, my Camera and my Mobile... I would love to save my PS3, but the fire probably started from there because I left it on for hours, so it has to burn...
come to think of it: I don't really have anything really worth saving in my apartement... Now I am sad
