Those Sally Hansen stick on pattern things were not the easiest in the world to apply (and I have no patience at all for things like that) but the new red and black plaid print is screaming my name!

You can get OPI at most salons. This color is going to be hard to find though. When it first came out last month it sold out immediately. I found it at Ulta, which is a cosmetics store that we just recently got here in Cleveland. Really cool place though!

All right, so I did my experimenting with my new color and now my nails look totally wackadoo... like Ke$ha puked all over my hands. And I'm keeping it. Hahahahaha.

Anyways, the sparkle on every nail is about two coats of OPI Rainbow Connection from the new Muppets collection. Here's the base colors left to right:
some cheap, bright reddish orange from Delia's with only one coat of Rainbow Connection
just four straight coats of Rainbow Connection plus topcoat
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure (coolest stuff) in Midnight in NY
Revlon Matte Suede in Emerald City
Revlon Steel-her Heart (I like this pairing a lot. It's kind of hard to see in the picture but it looks awesome)

I spent most of my evening experimenting with the water marbling technique featured yesterday... it was a total fail. But I'm determined to figure it out. I see lots of same brand polish purchases in the near future.
