I was a teenager during the 90s and it was a great time to be female with the Riot Grrrl movement happening. I was in an all-girl band for a few years too. I can't say I really enjoy those bands any more though. Babes in Toyland, L7, Hole, Voodoo Queens were some of my favourites, but are now far too screamy for my delicate mid-thirties ears...
