I've read all three books and cried like a baby thoughout them all.
It's a great story- but in my own selfish way I want more.

I can't wait for the movies. I was so happy to find out they were being made- will for SURE read them again when the first movie is released as a way to prep myself

I suggest this series!

At first the only reason I read it was because we had to read books and get a certain amount of points to pass my english class. And my friend suggest that I read it. Complete skeptic, I didnt want to read anything that wasnt by Rachel Cohn or had that feel to it. But I read a couple of pages and was hooked. I took it down to the river (my quite place) and just tore through it, then the second and third. As I was reading it I just knew it would get turned into a movie. Not too excited about the movie coming out. But who knows, maybe'll they'll surprise me.

I'm going into it with no expectations. I am never impressed with books into film.
From some of the scenes I've seen and also from the "MtV breaks down the Hunger Games trailer" (which I can't find a proper mobile link for) it looks like it might stay true.

Just hope they don't ruin an amazing story just to fit 90minutes.

Hi Ladies! I LOVE the Hunger games! I read them for the first time around this time last year and I couldn't put them down. I actually read all three and than downloaded the audiobook for HG and listened to it right away. I am just about to do a reread of the series!
Also for those talking about Divergent, it was truly awesome! I can hardly wait for Insurgent to come out in May!

Yeah the sequel for divergent is out in may I think. I finished divergent and really liked it, it has a similar feel to the hunger games but I think it's better. I also just read Delirium by Lauren Oliver which is similar. Dystopian fiction is clearly blowing up right now!

I have to say since Hunger Games I've become a bit of a teen dystopian fiction addict! I loved divergent, delirium, slated (teri terry), starters (lissa price), pure (julianna baggott) and daughter of smoke and bone (laini taylor)
Just a few more recommendations for people!
