I'm currently reading my first Murakami - The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles. I'm only on page 100 out of 600, but so far it's beautifully written and engrossing. I'm looking forward to reading more of it.
And I do not want to be a rose.
I do not wish to be pale pink,
but flower scarlet, flower gold.
And have no thorns to distance me,

but be bright,
bright,
bright as yellow,
warm as yellow.

I just found a murakami book I've never seen before "south of the border west of the sun".

Has anyone read it?
