Currently I'm not reading anything but over the summer i read some really great books! They are"
1. The Perks of Being a Wallflower which i loved because i'm kind of like Charlie (the main character) even though i'm a girl and i felt infinite.

2. Jane Eyre

3. Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass two of my favorite books of all time now because i really loved how crazy it was. Everything was absurd and mad and i usually like that kind of stuff so ...

4. Catching Fire of the hunger games trilogy because i needed to read it a fourth time. Actually i believe that it is my favorite of the series and i love Peeta <3

5. The Great Gatsby

6. Divergent and now i have a crush on Tobias and need to buy the next one. Also i loved the idea of everyone being separated depending on your so-called "traits". It was awesome!

Oh I read Perks in high school and remember really liking it. Will you see the movie when it comes out?

I just finished Hunger Games over my vacation and I'm waiting for my library to get Catching Fire back in.

Jane Eyre is one of my favorites, but the Great Gatsby is not - I remember it was required reading in High School and I hated it so much I didn't even read the whole thing. I just BSed my way through all the tests.

As a teen librarian, I read a lot of teen books (more so than grown up books). I just finished Every Day by David Levithan and thought it was just awesome! The main character, A,--you never figure out if its male or female--inhabits a different body each day. And only for a day. Mostly, A tries to not disrupt the life of the person s/he inhabits. Then A falls in love with Rhiannon (love that name!), the girlfriend of a boy s/he inhabits... and all bets are off. From that point on, A goes out of his/her way to be with Rhiannon. I love the concept of true love attempting to overcome all obsticales--no matter how difficult. I won't spoil the ending, for those of you who haven't read this and might want to. But I highly recommend it. Reminded me a bit of Time Traveler's Wife, but then it was different too. And of course it's appropriate for our teenage members.

Right now, I'm totally looking at the books that I bought ages ago, but haven't really finished. I just finished this book called "The Traitors" by Tom Becker, it's really good, I recommend it to all of you. Before that I finished the Mysterious Benedict Society series, it was really interesting! Right now I'm trying to finish up The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, it's a definite classic, loving it so far. Any more suggestions for books? Because after I finish this one up, I'm gonna have to start book-hunting again :?
