This winter’s been a dreary one for some, so my sister, Alyssa and I got together to record ‘Winter Song’ by Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson. We made it in memory of our Grandpa Will, who passed away last year after complications brought on by Hurricane Sandy, but we also wanted to dedicate it to the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting, as well as anyone else who feels lonely or sad this time of year. It’s like the song says, “I still believe in summer day. The seasons always change, and life will find a way.”
As part of our super fun Video Chat Karaoke series, we’d love to see our wonderful readers (that means you!) show us your stuff by sending in clips of you singing along to your favourite tunes.
Here’s Alyssa and Lauren working it to the Ingrid Michaelson Sara Bareilles track ‘Winter Song’ – we think they do a great job!
