So it’s February, y’all, and you know what that means. Most people dread it, others shove it in your face, but I embrace it (and by it, I mean Valentine’s Day). I don’t have Valentine’s Day date, nor have I since 7th grade, but that doesn’t mean that love should not be celebrated. I love holidays and one revolving around love is no exception. This month I decided to make a “Love Box”. You can make it for yourself, for your significant other (if you have one), for your best friend or even for your co-workers. I will be filling mine with Sweetarts because those are my favorite Valentine’s Day candies but you can put a little love note, chocolates, condoms or what have you in there!

STEP ONE: GATHER YOUR MATERIALS
What you need:
- A Box
- Glue
- Old Magazines
- Decorations (rhinestones, stickers, pressed flowers, etc.)
It does not matter where you get your supplies, but I got all of my supplies (except the old magazines) at Lee’s Art Shop in New York.

STEP TWO: DECIDE YOUR THEME & GLUE
My theme for my Love Box is lips. I went through all my magazines and cut out pictures of lips, then I put rubber cement glue on the box and pasted the pictures on in an aesthetically pleasing way.

STEP THREE: DECORATE!
Now after the rubber cement has dried and cut outs are set, get to adding the fun things! I added a pop-up sticker that reads “Kiss” and I added heart rhinestones with clue to the border.

STEP FOUR: DECORATE THE INSIDE
Apply steps two and three to the inside of your box to add some pizazz to the inside of the box!

STEP FIVE: FILL AND ENJOY!
Put little surprises in the box and gift them to your special someone in mind or enjoy it yourself!

Tweet me a picture of your completed Love Box and have a very Happy Valentine’s Day and lovely February!
