— Art we heart

Trust us, you are about to want to eat and also hug a sculpture

Fair warning, ye art and/or pop-culture lovers: If you’re trying to save money, maybe turn back now.

For those of you who are going to stick around, let’s talk about Liz and Jimmy Reed. These folks are a married couple behind the most adorable thing ever called Cuddles and Rage: a web comic posted every Monday that features super-cute images, mostly of talking food, hanging out in a place called Snuggle City.

You read that right: SNUGGLE CITY. Where is this and how do we get there?

“Our dioramas are made out of polymer clay and dollhouse furniture,” the couple’s website states. “Each character is hand sculpted and placed in a scene with miniature props.”

The dioramas take from about three to eight hours each to create and like their 2D counterparts, they are also often cute-animal and food-item related.

Happy Monday!! 🍽

The sculptures cover a variety of serious topics, like having to share your snacks with your pets.

#WHPFriendshipis sharing milk and cookies with your furry BFF.

And nostalgia goggles.

Three words, you guys: Tiny. Taco. Magnets.

Making mini taco magnets for @spxcomics & @craftybastards! Too bad these cute little guys aren't edible!

But they also make pop-culture-related sculpture art, LIKE THIS TINY ELEVEN FROM STRANGER THINGS EATING EGGOS IN THE WOODS AND PLEASE GIVE IT TO US NOW.

And this Slimer who reminds us all how hilarious the new Ghostbusters was while we count down the days we can own it on Blu-ray.

We saw @PaulFeig's @Ghostbusters and made this. Slimer sets the bar high for eating contests everywhere.

Shout-out to Twin Peaks and Pulp Fiction fans!

We can hear you asking, “How do I give these people money?” so we’ll just cut to the chase: They have an Etsy shop  for their sculpture projects(because duh), and they’re also releasing a book called Sweet Competition, which comes out in November.

Not only are these two #artgoals, but they are #relationshipgoals and #careergoals and #allthegoals. Excuse me while I go stock up on tiny taco sculpture magnets to hang all my taco takeout menus on my fridge.

H/T to Nerdist!
