If you are shopping for cards, why not buy cards that will support women?

Recently I have been shopping for cards. I have been looking for thank you cards for my wedding. I looked online and in lots of paper stores but nothing felt quite right.  I wanted to find something that would be meaningful to my fiance and me. For our invitations, we decided to go paperless (Paperless Post) in an effort to be kind to the environment. However, I still believe it is best to write a thank you note by hand.

I started looking for cards that were handmade and would support a cause. My friend Rebecca suggested we look at the beautiful handmade cards from Arte Global. Their cards were exactly what I was looking for!

Arte Global was founded by four single mothers living in Flor Del Campo, a slum area in Honduras. These women create handmade cards using dried flowers and colorful paper. Arte Global gets to work in the Proyecto Aldea Global (PAG) office at no cost. PAG is a Honduran, non-profit organization committed to empowering families to reduce poverty.
