Bing Search of the Week: How To Plan A Girls' NightTorre Healy

Between work, dating and trying to figure out life, every lady needs an occasional girls’ night. To some people, girls’ night might mean ”clubbing” (is that even the right term?), but for my girls’ night I wanted to kick it old school. I’m talking nail art, makeovers and margaritas. I’m a planner by nature, so I turned to Bing to help plan the best night possible.

First, we wanted to get manicure/pedicures. I’m pretty good at painting my own nails so I don’t have to visit the nail salon on a regular basis. However, I’m not so great at nail art. Tonight was the perfect night to get my nail art on. I turned to Bing and found out that CHI nail bar in Beverly Hills does the best nail art in town. And guess what – I checked with my Facebook friends and got inside info that it is, in fact, awesome.

I was also able to read Yelp reviews right from the Bing search results and get directions and the hours they’re open.

I think these nails are definitely HelloGiggles Nails of the Day worthy.

After our nails dried, it was time to get the rest of ourselves ready. The worst part about being a girl is having to spend hours getting ready. I’m not sure exactly what the statistics are, but if I had to guess I would say the average girl spends at least 1/8 of her life trying to master the round brush. Not tonight! Tonight I wanted to make sure we received the Kardashian treatment. While I may not be capable of hiring a full on hair/makeup team, I found the next best thing. Using Bing I was able to find DryBar, a blowout salon, less than a mile away from my house.

I think this is probably the greatest idea ever… like, up there with the cell phone and reality television. We came out of DryBar with hair Blake Lively would envy.

The last step in our getting ready process was makeup. By searching with Bing I was able to find Blushington Makeup & Beauty Lounge only a few stores down from DryBar. I would have never known this place existed!

Our experience at Blushington was so much more relaxing than going to a makeup stand at the mall, and our makeup looked super natural.

Now that we looked our best, it was time to find a great dinner spot. We wanted to go somewhere we had never been, but we also didn’t want to be disappointed. I had always heard great things about Nobu, so I decided to check it out on Bing. To my surprise, Bing has this awesome feature that lets you “step inside” the restaurant. It feels like you’re actually walking around. That, on top of awesome Yelp reviews, was enough for us to decide to make a reservation.

I know I’m not the first person to say this, but I would recommend Nobu to anyone. I would also recommend that all ladies take a break and plan a girls’ night. Thanks to some sake and Bing, we were able to forget about the other distractions in life and just have a great night.
