Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield are kind of living out a childhood best friend dream come true, aren’t they? Making ice cream as a job, coming up with witty pop culture flavors when they feel like it, working together every day, and eternal fame in New England? What more could anyone want?
Not only do they consistently dominate in the frozen treat aisle, but they also always seem to be three steps ahead of their competitors. And their latest line of flavors serves as further proof of that. Ben & Jerry’s has just launched their new flavors for their Cores line of flavors that feature a core center of fudge, caramel, or raspberry jam running straight through the pint. They’ve chosen four delectable flavor favorites for the launch/relaunch, including Salted Caramel, Hazed & Confused, That’s My Jam, and Peanut Butter Fudge. With these yummy core centers, you get the best of everything in each bite.
Here’s a little peek into each one.

Salted Caramel: Sweet cream ice cream with blonde brownies and a salted caramel core.
That’s My Jam: Chocolate and raspberry ice cream on either side of a raspberry core
Peanut Butter Fudge: Chocolate and peanut butter ice cream with mini peanut butter cups and a peanut butter fudge core.
Is this not the best day ever? Christmas, St. Paddy’s Day, and your birthday have come early!
Speaking of, I spent my last birthday working all day, but also digging my spoon into a pint of their Liz Lemon Greek Frozen Yogurt, and washing it down with a giant cupcake that looked like a hamburger. (#bestbirthdayever) And many of my birthdays have been spent with a Ben & Jerry’s flavor. I think most people can say the same. They’re as key to a good birthday as insincere birthday messages on Facebook and shots of liquor you don’t want.
Man, what will these two think of next?! I can’t wait!
What’s your favorite Ben & Jerry’s flavor of all time?
