Since I’ve been obsessing over the sporty chic trend lately, I wanted to create another chic look that’s perfect to wear to do a little shopping at the mall with the girls or even just for a stroll in the park. My embellished military vest really added an edgy vibe to my look and my leopard flats gave it a fun twist. Also, you can’t go wrong with adding a little print to spice up your outfit.

Being comfortable is really important, especially if you’re always on the go, but that doesn’t mean throw on a pair of gym pants, t-shirt and runners. You can always look chic with these four essential items: a pair of jeans, cute top, accessories and loafers (or flats).

There are so many great trends right now, but lately I’ve been obsessing over the sporty chic trend this season, especially since I’m all about comfort. Graphic tees have been my new go-tos for when I’m in a hurry, and they are so versatile and fun. You can wear it with a pair of jeans and sneakers – perfect for running errands! – or throw on a blazer for a more polished look, which is great for a lunch meeting. You can be comfortable and still be a stylish. As you can see in this look, I paired my graphic tee with my white jeans and gold accessories for a more chic look.

You are also wondering who that handsome boy was in my video, I bet, so I’d like to formally introduce Bentley Hughes Hartley, the new member of my family. He is stylish, colorful and full of trouble.

I want to share a pretty look I created for a perfect night out or even for a special date and since I cant get enough of my Vedette shapewears, I thought this piece would really complete my look; so I wore it as an outerwear to tone down the sexiness and just add a bit more elegance. It’s quite incredible how you can transition your sexy shapewear or lingerie into an outerwear piece, but you have to be careful not to make it look to sexy to the point where you look like a Playboy model. You want to keep it subtle for a classy look.

With this look, I went for a more relaxed vibe, throwing on loose fit boyfriend pants & leopard flats for comfort. I then added a polka dot blouse and fur vest to dress up the outfit. I also really love how this look is office friendly – you can just switch the fur vest (as some offices have different dress codes) and throw on a black blazer. Now I’m ready for a day with meetings and a quick bite with the girls.

For this episode of my ‘Styling Action’ series, I wanted to create a simple easy look for when your in a hurry. I know we all tear through our closets trying to find something to wear, but sometimes you just get in a funk, so I like to set a side a few key pieces where, if I’m in a hurry and I can’t decide what to wear, I have my key pieces to save my life and time. My key pieces are leggings & a tunic of some sort. Just two pieces! I know it sounds crazy, but with leggings and a tunic, your options are endless; you can throw on a chunky knit sweater pair it with a belt, booties & gold accessories like I did for a more casual look. You can also tuck your tunic into a skirt make it into a cute top, pair it with a pair of booties or heels for a chic look and now you’re ready to rush out to meet up with your friends for lunch or to meet that cute boy for coffee. With just two simple pieces, you can create tons of looks in a matter of minutes… unless you get stuck on choosing the right color purse to go with your look! At the end of the day, don’t think about it too much, just have fun with your looks and feel confident.
