I’ve become obsessed with the television show Friday Night Lights. I’m currently on season 3 and I don’t ever want it to end. This show makes me wish I played football and had a coach like Coach Taylor. Or it makes me wish I lived in a town like Dillon where football was a big deal. But I guess more than anything, it makes me wish that Tim Riggins was a real person that would reciprocate my love for him.
Due to my obsession with this show, I’ve decided to highlight some of my favorite athletes and stereotypical jocks from movies and television. With so many great ones, it was pretty difficult to decide who ranked among the top. Who are some of your favorites?
Great line-up. Personally I’d add Kevin Costner and Charlie Sheen. Maybe Brad Pitt as Billie Bean (he was a baseball player about to be drafted in the flashbacks). Maybe Santiago from Goal.
So many great sport movies and shows with jocks/sport in it. Love this post
