Videos A Year in 3,059 Photos
Molly McAleer

My beautiful roommate Sara, who I feel saves my life every day just by being in it, made this video last year of all the photos she took on her cellphone from 6/23/2009-6/23/2010. I love this video not only because it’s a taste of everything that’s important to a person that means so much to me, but because it seems to truly document one human’s growth through experience throughout the course of one year.

This is something that I wish we all could do. There are so many moments that make up a year that are easier and easier to forget as time passes, but with a video time capsule like this, you’re able to remember everything from the smiles shared during a family game night to the delicious hamburger you ate sometime around March to the faces of those who were just in your life for a moment but seemed to make an impression.

  4. This is a great idea. So many photos get lost in the abyss. It’s nice to put them all together. Plus, anything set to the soundtrack of Home by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros is amazing.

I would love to know the story about the photo of the hairy legs.
