For years now, I’ve watched my friend Jo pour their heart and soul into Camp Little Notch. It’s the most amazing place for girls to spend a summer, especially since it’s one that makes room specifically for girls with disabilities, and even gender nonconforming youth. It’s a place where girls can be themselves and express themselves, freely and with joy.

Recently, it was almost closed down due to lack of funds. After much hard work, the camp managed to stay open, and right now it’s in 23rd place for Pepsi’s Refresh Everything contest! If they get voted into one of the top 10 spots for this month, they’ll get a $50k grant! The “k” stands for “thousand” by the way. That’s a lot of girls going to summer camp.
