PollsA Dinner Date With A Famous PersonCorinne Caputo

Tomorrow, July 24th, is Amelia Earhart day! This day celebrates her birthday which was July 24th 1897.

As almost everyone knows, Amelia Earhart and her navigator, Fred Noonan, were on a record setting attempt to fly around the world, when they became lost in the Pacific Ocean. Radio communications unfortunately faded and died and the plane was never heard from again. Though her story is sad and intriguing, I still think she is one of the coolest women in history.

She was the first woman to receive the U.S. Distinguished Flying Cross, she wrote best-selling books about flying experiences he was instrumental in the formation of The Ninety-Nines, an organization for female pilots, and so much more. How cool is all that?!

If I could invite any person from history out to dinner, I think I would invite her. Who would you bring?
