I really can relate. I always wanted to have curly hair, then I got dreadlocks instead. My hair that’s not growing into my dreads is curly now (due to not-combing, no-conditioner etc.) – and I don’t give a damn. I always thought huge nerd-glasses would be cool. Then I realised that it’s time to get glasses since my eyesight was getting too worse. Guess what, I got those huge nerdy glasses and I love it, but every second day I’m annoyed that they get dirty, that they get foggy when I enter a heated room, that they slip down my nose when I’m sweating, that I can’t lie down comfy when watching a movie…aargh….yah, I could go on…
