For the most part I liked the show. Kat Dennings’ character was annoying and judgy in the beginning.

I loved Max, but not much else about this pilot. I hope that it improves with time, because I think it could have potential. Something about the first episode seemed very… Teen Nick to me with naughtier jokes.

You have done a great dishonor to my neighborhood. I can’t even go into all the inaccuracies, from the imaginary Greenpoint subway to the “hipster” with the neck tattoo and bad hat. The whole thing was painful to watch.. I love that the dark haired one wears full makeup. So unBrooklyn. LOL. They couldn’t find a costumer who knows what these mythical “hipsters” actually wear? I get that they had to dumb it down to appeal to middle America (hence the Coldplay joke), but damn. The racial stereotypes were cool, too.

Perhaps I’m one of the few who’s not so into this show. I’m all for giving pilots a chance, but this really did feel forced. It felt like the writers were trying way, way too hard to be hip, and it was a huge turn off. I didn’t laugh at anything, just cringed. I really like the premise of the show and think it could have potential, but I don’t know if I’m going to want to put in my time every week to find out.
