One of my favorite foods is cereal. There are so many varieties and flavors to choose from. I thought I knew just about every cereal there was until I looked up weird cereals and came across a ton of discontinued and interesting cereal types.
After looking at these, I realize why they are not made anymore. I mean, I would not want to eat breakfast with some creepy clown looking at me, nor would I want to eat a cereal with an orange juice flavor. However, I don’t understand why that ice cream cone cereal would be discontinued. To me, that cereal represents pure genius.
There was also Kaboom cereal, with really bright rainbow-colored creepy smiley-faced bits!….I loved it, of course.
I think its pretty strange that the grins and smiles and giggles and laughs cereal appears to be made by Purina…
I remember some of these. King Vitamin tasted a bit like Captain Crunch.
OMFG! I remember the Ninja Turtle Cereal – IT WAS BOMB!!!!!! It should NOT be on this list!

I don’t really remember any of these cereals , perhaps they were just a US thing. But I can well believe that they existed, with the way people like to cash in on a fad. Mr T was all the rage back when I was a kid and they practically did every thing and anything with his name on it. ET cereal and Turtles cereal are perfect txamples of what I’m taking about, although I don’t remember either of them being on the supermarket shelf.
I also love King Vitaman… They still sell it at Sack n Save here in Denton : )
Oh my god I used to love Mr Jones ice cream cones! They even had one with chocolate chips on the “scoops”. So sad when they were discontinued.

That’s funny! There’s one grocery store that carries Frosted Hexagons. Someone in the marketing department really hates his job.

I totally remember eating a bunch of these! I can remember exactly what Ice Cream Cones, ET, Mr.T, Dunkin Donuts, and OJ tasted like. The OJ wasn’t that bad. It was kind of like a creamsicle.
I remember the Dunkin Donuts cereal.. I really wanted it and my mom wouldn’t get it. My brother loved the Mr. T cereal.
I really liked ice cream cones and ET cereal, but out of these the ninja turtles was my favorite. It was like a sweetened rice chex with marshmallows, so so good.
King Vitamin still exists, but the packaging looks a lot different.
